Sedert 26 Augustus het 295 vervaardigers MDO's vir meer as 1 089 000 produkte ontvang.Sedert die sperdatum van 9 September om ongemagtigde produkte van die mark te verwyder, het die FDA Tabakprodukte Sentrum geen e-sigaretprodukte vir bemarking gemagtig nie. Produkte wat deur PMTA afgekeur word, moet van die mark verwyder word of onderhewig wees aan verdere afdwinging deur die FDA.Die FDA het verklaar dat sy tophandhawingsprioriteite produkte insluit wat MDO ontvang het of nog nooit vir hersiening ingedien is nie.Alle tans beskikbare produkte is egter steeds tegnies onderhewig aan FDA se handhawingsdiskresie, insluitend dié van massamark-e-sigaretvervaardigers soos Juul Labs en Reynolds American se Vuse-handelsmerk.

Met die eerste ronde van MDO het die FDA 'n voorheen ongepubliseerde standaard aangekondig wat vereis dat PMTA gebruik word vir geurmiddels anders as tabak en menthol om te demonstreer dat voldoende spesifieke produk wetenskaplike bewyse voldoende voordele vir volwasse rokers bewys.Oorkom die risiko's vir tabak en menthol.

Vir die eerste keer sedert die FDA die vereiste aangekondig het, het dit geweier om stelselvervaardigers oop te maak wat die hulpbronne het om sulke bewyse in hul PMTA in te sluit.Vroeër vandag was Amerikaanse e-vloeistofvervaardigers Turning Point Brands en AVAIL Vapor een van die maatskappye wat hierdie week MDO ontvang het, hoofsaaklik vir gegeurde e-sigaretproduktoepassings.

Ander wat glo 'n groot hoeveelheid wetenskaplike bewyse in hul PMTA ingedien het, het ook MDO ontvang, insluitend die vervaardiger van die Bidi Stick weggooibare e-sigaret.Sommige bekende en lank gevestigde e-vloeistofvervaardigers het MDO ontvang, insluitend Beard Vape Company, Cosmic Fog, Ruthless en Mister E-Liquid.

Alhoewel die FDA verklaar het dat hy 295 MDO's uitgereik het, bevat die lys slegs 240 name.Die agentskap het gesê dat die vervaardiger nie die ontkennings genoem het wat uitgereik is deur die produkte wat nie tans op die mark is nie.
